LCP believe the real cost for food retailers of providing efficient national home delivery will eventually be in the region of £80 to £100 million per annum. LCP also believe other e-retailers are underestimating the logistical demands of on-line trade and in response have established an e-supply chain consulting team to advise on delivery strategies.
