The project moved from start-up to live production in just 4 months. The alliance between the two software companies engineered a certified seamless integration link between Cincom's Enterprise Resource Planning system and ORTEMS plant supply chain APS system. Benefits of the first 2 months of operation include: improved visibility to finite capacity load on the plant floor; improved synchronisation of the production flow between work centres; and 30% improvement in scheduled deliveries. This is the first implementation of Cincom/Ortems partnership in Europe. The APS module adds value to the existing ERP and Cincom is talking to existing and prospective customers in the UK and Europe with a view to providing solutions based on this model.
