Manufacturers across the South East are being given a rare opportunity to hear a leading authority from NASA talk about the impact of innovation on business success. Dr Gerald Mulenburg, Chief, Aeronautics and Spaceflight Hardware Development Division, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), will be the main speaker at a series of innovation events being run by the Manufacturing Advisory Service South East in July. Dr Mulenburg is an acknowledged authority on innovating in product design and prototyping as a means of accelerating the time it takes to get a product to market. The events will focus on how innovation can help manufacturers succeed in the 21st century. Delegates will learn how to harness innovation both in creating a vision for their businesses and in developing a true culture of innovation. The events will also look at how to drive the innovation process and how to link lean manufacturing to innovation.
