ARTICLE DESCRIPTION: AutoSimulation announced the availability of AutoMod V9.0 3-D graphical simulation software used for modelling complex manufacturing and material handling systems. Enhancements include: Tanks and Pipes module; pathmover system and AutoStat. The new Tanks and Pipes module for continuous (process) modelling provides an environment for simulating fluid and bulk material storage and flow. Full 3-D animation and flexible model construction capabilities, both attributes of AutoMod were used to relate this new module for modelling continuous systems, enabling manufacturers to simulate their entire process. AutoMod 9.0 includes a new version of AutoStat, the statistical analysis extension for performing analysis on simulation models. Optimisation technology has been added allowing the user to evaluate thousands of alternatives quickly and efficiently.
